After spending over 20 years in the Army, and being a member of the Institute of Leadership and Management, Paul Titcomb qualified as a Physiotherapist in 1993, specialising in Musculoskeletal disorders, and is registered with the Health Professions Council.

Having been approached by several care providers to deliver manual handling training, Paul successfully completed the University of Northumbria, Manual Handling Trainer IPC course in 1995.

The demand for manual handling and other care related subjects quickly increased and facilitated the need to undertake the Post Graduate Certificate in Education in 2000, at the University of Huddersfield.

Since 2000 Paul has had extensive involvement in providing advice and guidance on a vast range of disability (mobility/hoist) equipment, whilst developing and delivering a wide range of courses.

As an Advanced Casualty Carer with a North Yorkshire Mountain Rescue team for 15 years, Paul also delivers a variety of First Aid courses including HSE Approved First Aid at Work, paediatric and specialist, bespoke first aid courses.

In 2004 Paul, along with Mandy Chadwick formed ARC Ltd. to meet the ever increasing demand for excellent training courses and services to the care sector and educational establishments. Paul is also a ‘Registered Member’ of National Back Exchange.
